itemprop=\"text\" ><p>Zum Tod auf dem Scheiterhaufen verurteilt wurden Hexen, aber auch Ketzer und Juden.<\/p>\n<p>Ihnen wurde vorgeworfen, mit dem Teufel und D\u00e4monen Verbindungen eingegangen zu sein und durch Hostiensch\u00e4ndungen, Ritualmorden an Kindern und Schadenzauber die christliche Gemeinschaft zu zerst\u00f6ren.<\/p>\n<p>Der (Aber)Glaube an Zauberei und Magie geh\u00f6rte bis weit in die Neuzeit zum Alltag. F\u00fcr Schadenzauber und die Abwehr von Unheil kamen \u00e4hnliche Praktiken zum Einsatz: Amulette, Spr\u00fcche und rituelle Handlungen. Davon unterschied sich das im 13. Jh. entstandene Bild der Hexe. Diese hatte sich von Gott ab- und dem Teufel zugewandt, typische Merkmale von Hexerei sind Teufelspakt, Teufelsbuhlschaft, Hexenflug und Hexensabbat.<\/p>\n<p>In Tirol kamen auf eine Anklage wegen Hexerei drei wegen Zauberei. Von 72 belegten Todesurteilen wurden 26 durch Verbrennen, 43 durch Enthaupten mit anschlie\u00dfendem Verbrennen der Leiche vollstreckt.<\/p>\n<p>Mittelalterliche Weltchroniken versuchen, das gesamte Weltgeschehen darzustellen: von der Sch\u00f6pfung bis zum j\u00fcngsten Gericht. Die erste Chronik dieser Art stammt bereits aus der Mitte des 13. Jh. Am bekanntesten ist das in N\u00fcrnberg 1493 zuerst in Latein, kurz darauf auf Deutsch erschienene \u201eLiber chronicarum\u201c, nach seinem Redakteur Hartmann Schedel \u201eSchedelsche Weltchronik\u201c genannt. Bemerkenswert sind die etwa 2.000 handkolorierten Holzschnitte, die meisten davon Stadtansichten.
