Schon an der belgischen Front war er als bildnerischer Kriegsreporter unterwegs. Der mit Max Klinger befreundete K\u00fcnstler hatte in seinen fr\u00fchen Jahren zahlreiche gesellschaftskritische St\u00fccke entworfen, sp\u00e4ter sich dem Portr\u00e4tfach und dem Impressionismus zugewandt.<\/p>\n<p>In den Alpen interessierte ihn jedoch mehr die Natur, die er so bislang noch nicht erlebt hatte. Die t\u00f6dlichen K\u00e4mpfe am Isonzo sollten kurze Zeit sp\u00e4ter losbrechen. Das Ergebnis ist eine Bildchronik in Aquarellen und Zeichnungen, die sprichw\u00f6rtliche \u201eRuhe vor dem Sturm\u201c. Bildnisse von Soldaten geh\u00f6ren dazu wie auf\u2019s Papier gebrachte Landschaftseindr\u00fccke. Mit von der Partie war zeitweise auch der begeisterte Alpinist und Verleger Georg Hirzel. Dieser hielt die einzelnen Ereignisse dieser Herbstfahrt in seinem Tagebuch fest. Das Ergebnis zeitigt ein Stimmungsbild der besonderen Art. Es ist Krieg, aber Sterl sucht die mitunter unterhaltsamen Ecken gesellschaftlichen Lebens. An den Frontstellungen begegnet er einer Reihe von Soldaten und Offizieren, deren Portr\u00e4ts er in flink gesetzten Strichen festh\u00e4lt. Skizzen in seinen Notizb\u00fcchlein halten zahlreiche fl\u00fcchtige Momente und Landschaften fest. Es sind k\u00fcnstlerische Zeugnisse einer vergangenen Welt, als die Monarchie in den letzten Z\u00fcgen lag.<\/p>\n<p>Der zur Ausstellung erscheinende Katalog ver\u00f6ffentlicht auch Hirzels Tagebuch, das durchaus als informatives und pers\u00f6nlich gef\u00fchltes Erinnerungsinstrumentar gesehen werden kann.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/p><\/div>\n\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><!-- close content itemprop=\"text\" ><p>Kinderbilder zeigen in sensiblen Nuancen den Wandel gesellschaftlicher Ver\u00e4nderungen. Die Ausstellung nimmt erstmals die Genese des fr\u00fchneuzeitlichen Kinderportr\u00e4ts im Tiroler Raum und den Wandel bis in heutige Tage in ihre thematische Mitte: Gezeigt wird, in \u00fcber 80 signifikanten Exponaten, die Entwicklung des Genres von den Anf\u00e4ngen im fr\u00fchen 16. Jahrhundert bis in die Gegenwart herauf. Dabei wird spezielles Augenmerk auf die ikonografische Vielf\u00e4ltigkeit der Darstellungen gelegt. Der Parcours der Bildentwicklung beschreibt den Weg von einer genormten Repr\u00e4sentationskultur des Adels hin zur aufgekl\u00e4rten Erinnerungskultur des B\u00fcrgertums, von einer Imitation der Erwachsenenwelt hin zu einer naturnahen Auffassung von Kindheit und kindlichem Bewusstsein. Die BesucherInnen erfahren \u00fcber die Bilderwelt gemalter Kindheiten mehr \u00fcber die Beziehung Kinder-Eltern, \u00fcber die Auffassung von Familie und die hoffnungsfrohen Attit\u00fcden junger Leben im Kontext von Symbolik und Spiel.<\/p>\n<p>Kinder sind ansprechende Bildmotive. In der kindlichen Physiognomie liegt selbsterlebte Erfahrung. In ihnen ber\u00fchren sich nachfolgende Generationen. 500 Jahre Kinderbilder, im erweiterten und neu organisierten Ausstellungsbereich in den ehemaligen Wirtschaftsgeb\u00e4uden der Burg Tirol, sind ein spannender Gang durch die gesellschaftliche Diversit\u00e4t der letzten Jahrhunderte.<\/p>\n<p>In den H\u00f6rstationen sind zudem Kommentare zweier renommierter Kinderpsychologen zu vernehmen, welche die Entwicklung der diversen Stadien im Kindesalter hinterfragen und mit heutigem Wissen auf die Bildtradition der Vergangenheit blicken. Damit erf\u00e4hrt die Ausstellung eine zus\u00e4tzliche Dimension, die das Innenleben des Kindes beleuchtet und nach au\u00dfen sichtbar h\u00e4lt.
