Die verschiedenen Stationen seines K\u00fcnstlerlebens wurden in den Kontext der damaligen sozialpolitischen Situation gestellt. Auf diese Weise wurde diese K\u00fcnstlerbiografie auch zu einem wichtigen Beitrag zur Zeitgeschichte Europas und Tirols, in der Leo Sebastian Humer sowohl Zeuge, als auch Protagonist So ist die Arbeit f\u00fcr Schloss Tirol beispielhaft f\u00fcr das Werk des Meraner K\u00fcnstlers. Zeichen und Monumentalit\u00e4t vereinen sich in ihrer Beziehung zum Raum, dessen historischer und architektonischer Wert in diesem Fall gleichbedeutend Jahrhunderts bietet dabei Einblick in grundlegende Fragestellungen der Gesellschaftsorganisation und des gesellschaftlichen Miteinanders, die auch f\u00fcr die Bewusstseinsbildung im 21. Jahrhundert unverzichtbar sind. Im Vordergrund standen nicht nur die Ausgrenzung und Verfolgung von Minderheiten, sondern auch die Pluralit\u00e4t und die Offenheit f\u00fcr \u201efremde\u201c Ideen, die in Tirol im 16.
