itemprop=\"text\" ><p>In den seltenen F\u00e4llen, in denen Adelige oder Geistliche eine Haftstrafe erhielten, verb\u00fc\u00dften sie diese meist an einem gesicherten, aber vergleichsweise komfortablen Ort. Auch hochrangige Geiseln und Kriegsgefangene hielt man fest, um entsprechendes L\u00f6segeld zu erlangen. Die Behandlung dieser Insassen war besser als in den \u00fcblichen zeitgen\u00f6ssischen Gef\u00e4ngnissen. F\u00fcr die Verpflegung allerdings mussten sie selbst aufkommen.<\/p>\n<p>Ein solcher gesicherter Ort war Schloss Tirol. Bischof Ulrich V. von Chur (reg. 1331\u20131355) verbrachte hier nach der Gefangennahme durch Ludwig \u201edem Brandenburger\u201c ein Jahr.<\/p>\n<p>Der Augsburger Hans Burgkmair (1473\u20131531), der viele Auftr\u00e4ge f\u00fcr Kaiser Maximilian I. ausf\u00fchrte, illustriert in dieser Darstellung die durch Bauern in den Bauernkriegen gefangen genommenen Adligen.<\/p>\n<p>Der Holzschnitt war die verbreitetste Form bildlicher Darstellung im fr\u00fchen 16. Jh.. Dabei wurde ein Bildmotiv seitenverkehrt in einen glatten Holzblock geschnitzt, wobei man die nicht druckenden Bereiche entfernte. Die erhabenen Bereiche wurden anschlie\u00dfend eingef\u00e4rbt und auf ein Papier gedruckt.
