Leonhard, Schutzpatron der Gefangenen, angefertigt. Der Gefangene ist mit Halseisen, Handschellen und einem Stock an den F\u00fc\u00dfen an den Pranger gefesselt.<\/p>\n<p>Der Stock ist eine h\u00f6lzerne Fessel, bestehend aus mindestens zwei mit Scharnieren verbundenen Holzbl\u00f6cken, die mit \u00d6ffnungen f\u00fcr \u2013 je nach Bauart \u2013 H\u00e4nde, F\u00fc\u00dfe, Kopf oder Kombinationen davon versehen sind. St\u00f6cke waren einfacher und billiger herzustellen als eiserne Hand- und Fu\u00dfschellen. Der Pranger konnte ein eigens daf\u00fcr vorgesehener Holzpfahl oder eine Steins\u00e4ule sein, aber auch eine gut einsehbare Mauer in der Ortschaft. Stock und Pranger kamen alleine oder kombiniert vor allem bei Ehrenstrafen zur Anwendung.<\/p>\n<p>Ehrenstrafen wurden bei geringeren Vergehen verh\u00e4ngt. Sie verletzen nicht Leib und Leben des Verurteilten, sondern dessen Ansehen in der Gemeinschaft. Der Verurteilte wurde dabei durch den Ort gef\u00fchrt oder an den Pranger oder Stock gefesselt \u00f6ffentlich zur Schau gestellt, was zumeist auf eine Stunde limitiert war. Schrift- oder Bildtafeln, Schandmasken und Schandgeige zeigten das Vergehen an.
